Kitsune .44 page 9

Notes

1. The observation is correct: He has shown himself to be an honorable sort by shooting the holy hell out of the first armed person he encountered before even exchanging words with him, and then threatening the crowd that gathered around him.

2. "This nation is currently in a state of war with my brother, Lord Geishu, who is not as welcoming to the outside world as I feel that I need to." What?

3. We'll bet you never knew North was that way.

4. Middle panel: "Somewhere here is the war front." The text itself would lead you to believe that the war is happening in the middle of the Sea of Japan. Normally you would be able to assume that it in fact denotes somewhere on the land around the writing as no one in their right mind would fight over a chunk of the ocean, but in this comic we really can't take anything for granted.

5. The apparent stars in Scott's eyes (and in those of everyone else in this comic) may just be a side effect of the restoration this comic underwent, but to be honest, I kind of doubt it.
